The close-fitting jacket with open front is knitted double stranded and seamlessly in one piece from the top down.

It starts with the back neckline border. The stitches for the back and the shoulder yokes are knitted out of the side edge of the neck band; in the further process the front parts and the final shape of the back are created by increases on both sides of the shoulders and later the sleeve caps are formed by increasing within the shoulders.

The neck band is knitted in double width and is folded inwards and sewn on later. The pocket bags are knitted on and sewn on later.
